A> HISTORICAL REVIEW

Nexus Media Ltd operated as a publisher specializing in niche and technical titles, headquartered at Nexus House (Swanley). Its significance in Amstrad PCW history lies in having picked up the torch from publications that Amstrad and Locomotive Software ceased to support directly.

Following the dissolution of the original software arms, Nexus Media became the official channel for the subscription and distribution of LocoScript User, working closely with the LocoScript User Group. Under their label, final updates and compatibility support for the PcW 16 were managed. In the early 2000s, the company was absorbed by publishing giant Highbury House Communications PLC, marking the end of Nexus's era as an independent support entity for the PCW.
