Club Auser was founded to address the lack of specialized support for Amstrad PCW users, which general computing magazines often overlooked. Their publication, PCW User, was distributed on floppy disks, allowing subscribers to receive a monthly selection of useful software, file system utilities, and interactive tutorials.

It played a fundamental role in introducing improvements for LocoScript and disseminating Public Domain software in Spain. Each disk contained technical articles meant to be read directly on the PCW, becoming the first digital media outlet dedicated exclusively to this range in the country.
