A> HISTORICAL REVIEW

LOGI'STICK édition was the technical publisher that defined the Amstrad PCW ecosystem in France. Founded by Gilles Probst, its focus shifted away from video game publications to concentrate on turning the PCW into a real professional tool for offices and homes.

Its production was innovative for the time, using Macintosh systems with QuarkXPress for layout since the late 80s. In addition to the print edition, the publisher managed the distribution of its own software and specialized peripherals, establishing a direct link between developers and the French user base through its dedicated Minitel server.
