AnaRosa is the specialized emulator from HabiSoft (developed by Habi) dedicated exclusively to the Amstrad PcW16, a machine that, despite sharing its name with the classic PCW series, possesses a completely different architecture based on the Anne chip.
At the beginning of 2026, AnaRosa establishes itself as the reference tool for this system following the release of its stable version 1.1.0.
It is vital not to confuse them: while CP/M Box is designed for the classic models (8256, 8512, etc.) that run CP/M, AnaRosa is the only one capable of executing the Rosanne operating system native to the PcW16. In fact, the emulator's name is a wordplay between the "Anne" chip and the "Rosanne" system.
