AndroPCW is the official mobile adaptation of CP/M Box, developed by Habi (Habisoft). It marks a milestone in Spanish preservation, being one of the few professional 8-bit system emulators successfully ported to the ARM architecture of smartphones.
This emulator is not a mere curiosity; it inherits the cycle-exact core from its Windows big brother, allowing complex programs like LocoScript to run with amazing stability on touch screens. The greatest challenge of this project was adapting the vast PCW keyboard to mobile screens, which Habi solved through an intelligent virtual keyboard that does not hide vital parts of the green phosphor screen.
