The PcW 9512+ possesses all the features of the PcW 9256 but includes a daisy wheel printer to offer letter-perfect print quality, an expanded 512k memory, and the LocoScript 2 word processing software, which features a 78,000-word dictionary, spell checker, and mail-merge function.
The 15-inch carriage daisy wheel printer includes an automatic sheet feeder, allowing users to take full advantage of the mail-merge software: up to 30 sheets can be loaded at once and printed unattended.
LocoScript 2
LocoScript 2 was written specifically to provide all the core functions and facilities expected of a professional standalone word processing system while remaining as simple as possible to use. Functions such as search and replace, simultaneous printing and editing, cut and paste, and automatic paragraph alignment are all easily accessible.
LocoMail allows the user to merge address lists with documents to produce personalized letters. Furthermore, even invoices can be prepared using simple arithmetic functions that are performed automatically.
Printer
The BJ-10e transforms the performance of the PcW 9512+. It is several times faster than the daisy wheel printer, almost silent in operation, and capable of printing an unlimited range of fonts* and font sizes*. The high-quality output of the Bubble Jet features a resolution of up to 360 dots per inch (dpi)—superior to that of most laser printers! With the right software, the PcW 9512+ and the BJ-10e can be used to produce quality desktop publishing, including shading, drawings, and even scanned photographs on a page.
The BJ-10e combines the speed and versatility of a dot-matrix printer with daisy-wheel-like quality and the near-silent operation of a laser printer; all in a portable package weighing only 2 kg.
